Do you want to help others LOOK, FEEL and MOVE better through the power of Pilates?
Here at Equilibrium, we are delighted to offer our own in-house Teacher Training Program led by Equilibrium Director, Lindsey Woolstencroft, with 18+ years experience in Pilates and a degree in Sport Rehabilitation and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. It is designed for health and fitness professionals and will give them comprehensive training to teach matwork Pilates to all types of students in an array of settings.

The program is spread out over 5-6 months of training and involves:

  • 4 x 2 day intensive teacher training weekends (monthly over 5 months)
  • Comprehensive Manual and Video tutorial’s for self-practice
  • 50 Observation hours (to be completed over the duration of the training)
  • Coursework (lesson planning and case studies)
  • Practical and Written exam

Lindsey has over 18 years experience in Pilates, a degree in Sport Rehabilitation and is a Strength and conditioning specialist. Lindsey has also worked with an array of clients from premier league footballers, military personnel, professional dancers, Olympic swimmers, ages 5-90 and many musculoskeletal and ante/postnatal conditions.
Lindsey’s team at Equilibrium also have a mix of specialities and experiences and you will be able to learn from the whole team through your observation hours

Pre-requisites

The course is ideal for the following

  • Personal Trainers / Fitness Instructors
  • Osteopaths / Student Osteopaths
  • Physiotherapists / Student Physiotherapists
  • Sports & Remedial Massage Therapists
  • Sports Therapists / Student Sports Therapists
  • Sport Rehabilitators / Student Sport Rehabilitators
  • Chiropractors / Student Chiropractors

Students must have at least 1-year experience of practising Pilates (50 hours class time minimum) and hold a qualification in anatomy and physiology.

Dates of Training

  • July 18th and 19th
  • August 15th and 16th
  • October 10th and 11th
  • November 7th and 8th

Exam December 5th

Cost

£1750 or
4 payments of £450 paid prior to the 4 training weekends or
6 payments of £310 paid monthly (1st payment must be paid 2 months prior to start date)
